Surf Programs for Schools
Sals Surf School at Umina Beach is an ASI (Academy of Surfing Instructors) accredited surf school which abides by the high international standards for operations, training and safety. ASI accredited schools set the world standard in surf education.
Our surf programs for schools are perfect for primary or high school aged children and have been designed so students can progressively learn all basic surfing skills to become independent and confident in the ocean as well as develop an understanding of surf safety and awareness when at the beach.
Sals background as a physical education teacher combined with her years of surfing experience has allowed her to effectively implement the ‘ASI Beginner or Intermediate Surfer’ surf programs and the ‘APOLA Ocean Safety Surfer Award (OSSA)’. Program content, length and costs are outlined below for each course.
